What's so bad about high-rise buildings?
If you look at a lot of the literature of people opposing new development one thing appears pretty consistently, an aversion to high-density, high-rise buildings. Yet the Twin Cities Metropolitan Council and many urban entities have identified this very element as essential for healthy growth!
Their argument is that high-rises are the only antidote to urban sprawl. Put more people in a vertical building and there's more land for nature and society.
